Service Opportunity

Church,

We have become aware of a potential need among some families that we have the opportunity to serve in our community and church.  The burden of purchasing school supplies is often a large one, especially for families with many children.  We have recognized a need and so I’d like to ask if anyone is out purchasing supplies this weekend, pick up some extra.  We would like to put together some packets of supplies (using the supply lists from the City & County schools provided at Wal-Mart) for some students who could use them.

Take advantage of the tax holiday this weekend and help us serve these families.  You can bring the supplies to the office or to church on Sunday.  I’ll also mention it from the pulpit Sunday to remind you.  Thank you so much for meeting this need!

Have a blessed weekend!

Jim
