This week's bulletin

This week’s VOICE of Washington Street is online now at http://www.washingtonstreetchurch.org/Bulletins/jUN%2010,%202010.pdf

Also, visit www.runforella.com this week!  This year’s run is benefitting my neighbor, Jules Mayes, who was injured in a car accident a couple of months ago.  It is scheduled for this Saturday 12.  There’s a 5k run as well as a 1 mile “fun run” and all proceeds go to helping with the Mayes’ medical bills.  You remember me mentioning Jules and you might even remember her from her part in the movie filmed here in town, “For the Love of a Dog” a couple of years ago.  She’s a delightful young lady entering the 5th grade this Fall and is recovering well at home.  She’s looking forward to getting out of her wheelchair and off of her walker and getting back to playing ball in the yard with my boys real soon!

Also, many of you have asked about Tommy Ward, the minister at First United Methodist.  A Caring Bridge site has been set up at www.caringbridge.org/visit/tommyward

He’ll be updating it regularly.  Keep him in your prayers!

Have a great week & God bless!

Jim
