A Vision for 2013 & Beyond... from our Shepherds

Church family,

On Sunday, Dec. 30th, our Elders presented us with a challenging vision for 2013 and beyond.  Ricky Pierce, speaking on behalf of our leadership, laid before us a challenging vision of love, unity and mission.  He spoke of a few specifics that we would like to see come to fruition in the coming year including the hiring of a new Youth Minister and the addition of a Children’s director to our staff.  He spoke of our small group ministry and our work in Honduras.  In all of these things and so many more, our Elders share a vision of a “What Next?” attitude.  God has accomplished great things in and through this church in the past, and we believe He wants to continue to do great things in and through us in the years to come.

Linked below is a copy of the message Ricky shared with us.  We know many were not able to be present physically due to holiday travel or illness.  We also know that this was a message that all of us should review and continue to think on AND to pray about throughout the coming months.  Please take a moment to read it or read it again.

I so appreciate our Elders and their forward-thinking as well as their servant-spirit.  I appreciate Ricky sharing this message with us and I ask that all of us be in prayer for each of our Elders and for their leadership in the coming year.

God bless,

Jim
