Sis. Evelyn Tipps


We regret to announce the passing of Sis. Evelyn Bailey Hindman Tipps, age 91. Sis. Tipps' service will be conducted at 11 AM Friday at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Tipps passed away Tuesday evening at Donalson Skill Care.A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Nathan Dillon and Nora Spurlock Bailey, was retired from Jonathan Logan, and a member of Washington Street Church of Christ.Survivors include her daughters Gayle Hindman Fisk and husband Ronald, Ann Hindman Brooks and husband Jerry, daughter-in-law Ethel Shelton Hindman, stepson Austin Tipps, grandchildren Michael Hindman, Eric Fisk and wife Catherine, Lance Fisk and wife Amy, Ronica Fisk Ondocsin and husband Bill, Brian Brooks, Ede Brooks McCullough and husband Kevin, and Janna Brooks, step-grandchildren Will and Steve Tipps, 13 great-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Grover Hindman and William Blakely Tipps, and a son Kenneth HindmanVisitation with the family will be from 10-11 AM Friday atHiggins Funeral Home.
