Update from Richard Waggoner

Hi Jim
The work Lisa and I came to do is going good We have treated several sick people and I have visited about 80 0f the 120 orphans in this area AS WELL AS THE FOUR SCHOOLS in this area that we have started for the orphans. At one of the orphan care sites, where a 90 year woman is caring for four and has been for 6 years, she has a home made out of Home made brick her husband built many years and it sits on a little hill. When we parked at the bottom of the hill to walk up to her house about fifty yards, she saw me get out of the rover and she got up from the home made stool and she began clapping and shouting, "my friend from USA has come to see us" She was making so much noise the ophans came to her from every direction. Twice in the last six years I have found very sick and gave he medicine to get her well. the local director gives me a report on her rvery two weeks as he checks ALL widow's and orphan's health. Each morning I teach 35 young men the Biblical approach to conflict Prevention and resolution, and evangelism house to house. it is winter here and the temperatue last night was 44 degrees. but most days it gets up to 80 degrees We hope things ae going well for you and tghe people at Washington Street.and particularly those who are partners with us in the work here. I pray God will Bless you all.
IN HIM,
Richard Waggoner
