It's a Girl!

Ashlen Michelle Alcorn entered the world Friday evening, March 21st, at 6:13pm weighing 10 pounds and 15 ounces! Mom & baby (and Dad, sister & brothers) are well and they are right now planning on being able to head home Monday evening. Say a prayer of praise and thanksgiving for this sweet angel-baby coming into this world healthy and happy!

The Annual Easter Egg hunt for ages infant thru 3rd grade
is Saturday  at 11 am at the Cox home.
Pictorial Directory Photo Dates - April 29,30 - May 1,2,3 and possibly May 4,5.
Washington Street will host The Area Wide Youth Devotional on
Sunday, March 30th.  Our service for that night only will be at 6pm.  Everyone
will meet in the auditorium.  There will be a guest speaker from Faulkner University.
We express our sympathy to  the family of Bob Price, son of Wayne Price and
the late Christine Price.  Graveside services were held Tuesday at Mulberry
Cemetery.
 
Frankie Pinnix(sister-in-law of Charlotte Bartelt is in  ICU at St. Vincent Hospital, Birmingham.
Pat Askins was dismissed from the hospital this week after carotid artery surgery.
Also dismissed was Ernestine Wilson
Tommy Bullington was dismissed to a Rehab in Montgomery, Al.  Tommy had a stroke.
Roy Kilpatrick was hospitalized in Brookville, FL after he suffered a light stroke.  He has
been dismissed and is now at his Fayetteville Home (73 Grisham Road.)
 
Marjorie Walker is now in Donalson Skill Care, Rm. 29-B
June Simmons will have surgery March 26th at Women's and Children's Hospital, Huntsville.

Prayer Request

Roy Kilpatrick is recovering in Florida following a mild stroke. He and
Janie and would appreciate your prayers especially since they are so far from home.

He is at the Brookside Hospital in Room 268.

It was so good to see Cindy Bates at worship on Sunday!  Continue to remember her and all of those undergoing treatment for cancer right now.
Remember Richard Waggoner in your prayers this week as he travels home from his mission trip to Africa.
There will be an organizational meeting of the Photo Directory committee this Wednesday night at 6pm in the library.
Don’t forget… the 5th Sunday Special Contribution on March 30th for the building program.

Continue to remember in prayer after the loss of loved ones… Oral Eslick, Dick Templeton, Wayne Price and the Dallas Williams family.
