An exciting Sunday coming up!

Special "5th Sunday" next Sunday… Fellowship & Special Offering
A special thanks to Darryl Willis for being with us last Sunday and for bringing a wonderful message and talking with us about his work with Eastern European Missions!  Just as he was visiting with old friends here at Washington Street, Celeste and I (and the family) used the occasion to visit with friends and family in Chattanooga.  While it was good to be away and renew old friendships, it is also good to be back and I am very much looking forward to a terrific Sunday here at Washington Street next Sunday!  It is the fourth of our "fifth Sundays" this year which means we will be having a special offering to towards our building debt.  It is currently below $50,000 and it is very much within reach to completely pay off our building debt by the end of the year!  Praise God for that!  Again we want to challenge the church to give upwards of $20,000 in special giving this week.  I know we can do it and I am SO looking forward to our fifth Sunday in December and getting this loan paid off once and for all.  Please join me this week in considering how you might give "over and above".
Also, this next Sunday we will be receiving our Magi boxes!  I've challenged our young people to be putting together these gift boxes to be sent to Honduras and to bring them to church on Sunday.  I want to make a big stack on the pulpit area with all of the boxes we receive.  Carlos and Marla have requested about 140 boxes this year, so we know that whatever we can provide will go to great use in the kingdom!  This is often the only Christmas gift some of these precious children will receive, so make your box a good one.  Again, small toys, t-shirts, toiletries, school supplies and candy are all great items to include.  The children went home with brochures with all of the information a couple of weeks ago, or they can be found online at www.hhi.org.  Just click on "Magi Project" for a video and all of the details.
Pot-Luck Fellowship
Also, don't forget to stay and enjoy a great pot-luck fellowship meal after our combined adult Bible Class in the Fellowship hall to celebrate another great "fifth Sunday."  Bring something to share with the rest and plan to have a great meal together.
